The following information is to assist you in entering the MECs:
· The Entrants are SOLELY responsible for entries being correct.
· The MECs is a large event therefore it’s extremely important that you provide the MECs show organisers with enough information to ensure that your horse is placed in the proper class.
· The Entrant Information Form includes your contact information, number of horses entered, results format, Proxy and Extra Space/Helper (if applicable) and the amount of entry fee you will be sending. You must provide ALL the requested information.
· Entrants under 16 must have at least ONE parent or guardian present at their table at all times. Please name the parent(s) or guardian(s) that will be present on the day on your entry form.
· MECs Qualifier tickets must be posted to the MECs Show Director with your completed Entrant Form. ALL MECs Qualifier tickets must be filled in correctly – those that are received incorrectly completed or with missing information will be refused and returned. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure each MECs Qualifier Ticket is completed correctly and if any information is found to be false the horse will be disqualified from the show.
· If you are entering a model in a Breed class send just ONE MECs Qualifier Breed Ticket per horse. If entants send multiple tickets for a horse these will not be returned to the owner.
· If you are entering a horse in a Performance class send just ONE MECs Qualifier Performance Ticket for EACH Performance class it qualified in e.g. If the horse was qualified in the Ridden Horse class you would send in the Ticket it won in THAT class but if it then qualified in a Western Performance class you will need to send in the Ticket it won in THAT class as well.
· If the horse has qualified in both Breed and Performance classes then you need to send both the Breed and Performance Tickets for each qualified horse.
· Remember to include your payment with your entry form. Please make cheques payable to: 'B.E.C.F.' Cheques not made payable to the B.E.C.F will be returned and entry will not be considered paid until the correct cheque is re-sent, received and the payment cleared.
· Please remember to include a A5 SASE with your form and payment.
Proxy Shower Information:
MECs entrants who are proxy-showing models for another individual(s) will be given additional table space at the MECs Show Committee’s discretion. It will be determined by the following several factors; (1) total number of models & (2) show hall space availability.
The rules and fees for someone having their horses shown by a proxy person are the same as if they were attending.
MECs Sponsorship is available at: £2.00 per class, £5.00 per Section Championship & £10.00 for the Show Supreme.
Complete ‘Section’ Sponsorship is available for a complete section (all classes and the championship) - available for £30

Notes on Photography at the MECs:
· To keep the show running on time we MUST ask everybody to keep away from the Show Rings when the class is being judged – Nobody except the Judge, Ring Steward, Official Photographer and the MECs Show Director will be allowed at the Show Ring once the class is 'closed'. Anyone who does not follow this rule or who gets in the way of the judging will be asked to move!
· We have an Official Photographer at the MECs – Photographs can ONLY be taken once the class has been judged and the results finalized.
· Thank you and we hope you enjoy your day J
